About Us

Plants & More is a family-owned nursery built from the ground up.

Our story began over 20 years ago, growing plants right in our backyard. What started as something small slowly grew into more than we ever imagined.

As we began growing more plants, we started selling them at the flea market in Bowling Green, Kentucky. We filled more and more containers each week to have plants ready for the weekend while also taking on landscaping jobs.

Before we knew it, we were traveling all over Tennessee and Kentucky, doing landscaping jobs while continuing to grow our nursery as a family.

As the years went by, we expanded from growing plants in containers to growing trees and plants directly in the field. Eventually, we found a piece of land for sale and decided to take a chance on it. That land became our sales yard.

Today, we have our own fields and sales yard where we can grow our trees and plants. Looking back at where we started—growing plants in our backyard—it is amazing to see how far our family has come.

Plants & More is owned by Anastacio and his wife, Marcela, along with their two daughters, Avilene and Leyland. Everything we have today has been built together as a family.

Our daughters have grown up alongside the nursery and are now following paths of their own. One is pursuing a degree in agricultural business, continuing the family’s connection to the industry, while the other has chosen a career in nursing.

After more than 20 years, we are grateful to be living a dream that started right in our own backyard. We love being part of agriculture, growing beautiful plants, and watching something we planted years ago continue to grow.

Most of all, we are forever thankful for every customer who has trusted our family, supported our business, and continued to come back to us throughout the years.

From our backyard to traveling across Tennessee and Kentucky to now having fields and a sales yard of our own—thank you for being part of our journey.
